Bring a little green into your interiors
by Tina Stephen
Greenery is the new colour of the year from Pantone, which sets the global trend in colourways each year. Greenery looks to the past where we see warm tones and bohemiam homes trending into todays interiors. But also there is a vision to the future, combining fresh hues with cool greys and neutrals for a modern minimalist aesthtetic. Leatrice Eiseman from Pantone says “Symbolically, emerald brings a sense of clarity, renewal, and rejuvenation, which is so important in today’s complex world”
This translates to interiors bringing with it a resurgence of bold colour as well as softer hues, enabling green to permeate everyday interiors by adding small touches or bolder statement pieces.
