Hot trends for 2017

Art Deco Pastels
It is impossible to ignore the new pastels, fresh and pretty they are back in full force with a new take on the 50’s era. Teamed with a soft, bone white canvas on walls as well as flooring, these hues are no longer baby pinks or blues, but a more grownup palette of dusky blues and blush pinks. With Rose Quartz and Serenity leading the charge in 2016 as Pantone’s Colours of the year, the trend shows no signs of slowing, with the introduction of a go‐to pastel and beige palette by Dulux for 2017. Featuring La-Z-Boy’s fabulous Nordic Mateo Recliner with Ottoman.

Chic Chromatic Brights
With a nod to the post‐modern era, chromatic bright hues are both familiar and strikingly fresh.
Paired with a graphic black and white canvas, along with mineral grey tones and textures, these bold colours create serious impact with primary block colours.
Purchasing larger items, such as sofas and recliners in a simple grey fabric, can transcend trends, allowing you to add occasional pieces and pops of colour. Consider colour blocking with paint colours, and let your inner Mondrian free. Colour blocking makes for an easy update, whether you add colour through art and accessories, or simply by painting sections of a room. Featuring La-Z-Boy’s gorgeous Nordic Alina Recliner with Ottoman.
